Let’s just say, it was all just lies,
Conversely, that it common sense defies,
Run out of oil, to pollute the air,
That this would cause us great despair,
Let just say, it could be all untrue ,
Have us to breathe, clean air, we’d sue,
All that, in little time, or more,
Your house be nearer ocean shore,
Let’s just say it’s too far fetched,
None of this in stone is edged,
That my child may not survive,
Kill all the bees that're in their hive,
That drove my car right off a cliff,
Others join me in a tiff,
Could all this be far fetched my friend?
That this could be our very end,
However, just in case, for children’s sake,
I will in insurance take a stake,
Unlikely, all might come to be,
Only prophets, can the future see!

I, for one, sadly think it could - and our children and grandchildren will be the ones suffering from our callousness and greed.
