An experience in my younger years

Lights twirling in a tunnel,
Very bright they are, intense, harmonious,
Songs, birds, humming,
Angels pulling gently,
Waiting, folks I don’t know,
Some are short, some are tall,
Stern looking, awkward,
No pitchfork though they had,
Like a warning, don’t come here,
Their faces severe,
I turn around back down the tube,
Darkness overwhelms me,
Then another bright light,
Talking, then hush, white gowns,
Blink my eyes, someone yelling,
He’s coming around,
My vision blinded, from lights overhead,
Someone dressed in white, gently lifts up my head,
Faces, near me, close, stare, intense,
You sure gave us a scare,
Welcome a back young friend,
Here is your bear.

Near-Death experience, blessed are they that now know that there is a light at the end of the life tunnel.
Bless you.

Wow, quite the spiritual journey for such a young lad to have taken. The memories have stayed with you all this time and clear too, must have really been something for you to have endured...

Be always safe,
Karen

This well written poem reads as though you had a near death experience as a small child. I've had a similiar experience, many years ago, and it's something that stays with you all of your life. You get a peek at the other side and you know without doubt that there is an after life.
