Hedging my bets.

A personel struggle, to I get militant to help even just one helpless creature, or do I cower doing my usual, it's overwhelming me, I don't want to see anyone hurt, especially little helpless creatures, I am asking day and night what more can I do? and do I have the courage?

The struggle, who is winning?
I am not that’s certain,
With problems am I brimming?
Of the soul, my burden,

Wrestling with the spirit deep,
That tells me this and tells me that,
To fill my deepest need,
I’ve been called to bat,

Lift that weighty bat with courage,
Take some aim not wait to long,
Strike it while you have the urge,
And strike it hard, and strike it long,

Sitting in the dugout friend,
Waiting for the call,
Time is running out my friend,
Hiding out to stall,

Thoughts of what is best and what is not,
Reach deep into my soul,
Take aim with all you’ve got,
Take aim to reach life’s goal.

That last call will come soon enough,
No time to think it when,
Can then you say, you’ve done your stuff,
To reach God’s pastured glen.

Far too many sitting in the dugout, these days. I think we must continue to attempt to recruit new team members. No one can do everything alone, my friend. So just Keep On, Keepin On, and maybe one day we may eventually have a Winning Team. And I think recruiting youngsters is truly the key.

When the Lord weighs you down, there is no way to go but up after saying yes...then with sweet relief, the misery turns to joy! Just don't harm anyone, that's a sign of the flesh...Use the sweet ways of the spirit! You are a blessed advocate, Jasmin!

Merry Christmas with Love,
Eileen

Always it seems to be a tug of war from within, but all anyone can do is their very best as you do. God bless you.......

Be always safe,

On the Edge of Words by Debra Kraft

Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
