Little critters small and sweet,
Near branch or at my feet,
My open hands hold them a treat,
No matter if they fly or crawl,
If their short or tall,
I love them one and all,
The chickadee or bumblebee,
The squirrel that in the tree,
All bring happiness to me,
The ladybug or dragonfly,
The bird that’s in the sky,
My heart with happiness does sigh,
And so in thankfulness, I do return,
No effort will I spurn,
They, of my happiness will learn,
A flower for the bumblebee,
Plant here and there a tree,
Happy work, for all you see,
The flower of the sun in seed,
In winter time my birds will feed,
More joy will bring indeed,
Friends we are, one and all,
Not just spring or fall,
My heart to them does call,
Be they no more, my heart would die,
If no bird or butterfly,
Just empty lifeless sky,
Connected to my life they are,
Either near or far,
The loss of them my soul would mar,
Precious all of them to me,
From sea to shiny sea,
They bring out God in me.
She not only seems to, she does. And why so many of us so adamantly opposed her elevation to national office. She likes to show visitors the endangered grizzly bear pelt in her office; she herself has shot down wolves from airplanes, and she now opposes saving the Alaskan beluga whale because it lives in waters harboring that black gold she and many others covet so.
Can we ever be quit of "corruption in pursue of the American Dream"?
Can we go back to the pristine America that was seen from Plimouth Rock?
Can we burn Sara on the stake on Salem's square?
