A birdie whispered in my ear,
That these three might be dead I fear,
But barely alive they were,
They’re little secret I will share,
Weary I travel that trail, innocent in thought,
And soon guess what, my trap had caught,
Colours rare I’ve never seen,
All of them looked dead and mean,
One as big that, we call frog,
But no croaking did he do, or talk,
A reed in his mouth he had,
Despite it seemed, his handicap was glad,
The other though he croaked for sure,
A can he had, I could read Coor,
Dressed a southern gentleman for sure,
What would up north him lure?
Next the other, a woman with umbrella,
Yellin I whoop you this time fella,
Some pussy on his nose it sat,
My God it was a cat,
Dr, Bonnie had to call now in a hurry,
Along with Captain Perry,
Dislodged the cat and frog,
And threw the other in the bog,
Riding in came burly Mounties,
Are you not collecting on your bounties?
Surely, you’re not after that beer,
No one drinks that piss up here,
Look he said I’ll tell you what to do,
Disturbing the peace up here I’ll sue,
But they’re are so dead quiet I said,
Why don’t we bury them instead?
Na said he, so did Mc Fee, think of their friends,
And otherwise they seem like gents,
Perusing wallets and the like,
Not possibly their friends could spite,
Walt and Rose, and Tiger Lil,
Legion-Etranger Emile,
Little Rattle Snake, and Amber,
All for them would clamber,
Not Carrol, hanging judge supreme,
And preacher, Linville’s mouth machine,
Not Marcia, and Wolf Rufuz,
On their trip their only plus,
Not forget the many more,
Like Doc Bonnie, their lucky score,
Revived them nearly dead and smelly,
Most had poison Coors in belly,
Larry dragged them off back home out of sight,
When he met the witch of the night,
La belle rouge witched them on their flight
We’d rid this country of some blight.
A birdie told me of their flight their trip,
Just long enough that witches stick,
Barely room, on that witches broom,
Thank God, they won’t be back, too soon!

Very imaginative write. Nice to throw in some AD characters. This did hand me a laugh, thanks.
