So you don't want to be a vegetarian to save the world, here is an old idea, which gives new meaning to " Tongue in Cheek! ha

Me thinks that Fiji had it right,
Save all the world from hungers plight,
More loving kind, they was and tender,
If you had a fender bender,
In the oven stuck to eat,
That extra piece of meat,
Or even on the hunt for food,
Brought home whatever catch they could,
Was it turkey or gorilla?
Of some fancy young chinchilla,
Meat it was, all meat,
All was good enough to eat,
No housing shortage did exist,
Tenants often payments missed,
A regular event, you didn’t pay the rent,
Last minutes on the spit you spend,
It might have been an art,
To see who gots what part,
I bet you, just as here, they would,
Take the best part first, they could,
The ones with all the trinkets tips,
Surely too, would get first dibs,
The tender parts, like pate,
Would end up on their plate,
It was the Aussies and the Christian crowd,
That such practice disallowed,
What did they know of Momma earth?
So rich and plentiful gave birth,
Nowhere now they have to go,
Except for six feet down below,
What waste, of tasty morsels part?
Be it liver, kidney or the heart,
Waiting to get olde and die,
Somewhere float into the sky,
Better young some tummy feed,
Not shovel or mortician need,
To feed that funerary greed,
No need for overpopulation,
Or that United Nation,
Instead of cruel factory farms,
Or military arms,
No need to fight then bury dead,
Clean battlefields, there be instead,
I’m sure some French chef genius skill,
Morsels make, of every kill,
You’d never know if mixed with other,
All of it in sausage smoother,
Where it Porky, Jack, or Sue,
It wouldn’t bother you,
Why would you think it better be?
Rather chicken, pork, not me,
Or someone from your family tree,
You’d save the world you see,
No need grow old and wise,
Tell all those fairy tales, and lies,
Best you young and tender,
You someone’s happy tummy enter,
Still all the hunger in the world,
If this tradition be unfurled,
Would not, the adverts on the buses read?
Enjoy your neighbour’s seed.

Let's start with the French, Jasmin. I always heard they have excellent cuisine, and I've always liked a good French toast let alone French fries. Yes, a good morsel of Frenchman would do perhaps followed with Morrocan for desert with the head covering removed of course. Did you know the Spanish easily induced the Aztecs to find pork a favorite because it reminded them so much of human flesh. Don't say oink, it may make you more poetic---Jerry

You've reminded me of an old movie called Soylent Green, with Charlton Heston. When we humans run out of food - someone else's dinner table truly may be our end.

Heard last night in the new here in Sweden that everyday 110.231 pound of food are thrown away. They could donate it to schools, hospitals, old folk homes, etc. But the tax-laws are so that donations have a tax levy which nobody are willing to pay...the food ends in a landfill.

PS. As lettuce is a living thing, so, here's new for those dumb vegetarians, you wouldn't like the language of a salad after you bit a salad leaf, no that it will make no difference, you ain't eatin' meat!

Shared sentiments as there are far too many suffering in a world where this should have been eliminated a long time ago....

Be always safe,
