Don't swear in public, but kick the neighbours dog
*The super pious!* *I’m not meant to cower before the Lord,* *And I don’t make it sport,* *Do everything out of fear,* *He might kick me in the rear,* *Scriptures quote a mile the writ,* *While in their ugly bloomers shit,* *God help me from such folk,* *When breaking eggs don’t break the yolk,* *He’ll get you, is their fear, don’t swear,* *Blasphemy you dare, to hell you near,* *Lighten up I say, and do some good,* *Instead to tell me, how to live I should,* *If his ways are in your heart,* *Need not scriptures to impart,* *Out of fear of retribution,* *Make that your life’s solution,* *Such piety is false, untrue ,* *Out of fear you pay your due,* *Not the Lord you fool this way,* *And neither me, what can I say.* *©08/02/2009*

The Pompous Pious (sounds like Pontious Pilate)- the world would truly benefit if we were rid of most of them. They're great on talking and criticizing others, but when any real work needs to be done, they usually can't be found.

In Spain they say, "A Dios rezando...y con el mazo dando"
"To God our prayers...and with the whip punishing" which is all the contrary to forgiving and love thy neighbor....(you know the res)
