Please folks keep the spay neuter thing alive all year, and ask your lawmakers to legislate on this important issue, so many poor brave creatures unwanted die on the streets, miserably. This to help Ed's campaign

Poem Artwork

Please, please, don’t ask for more,

I am broke my heart is sore,

You looking at me,

Such sad eyes I see,

Puppy, bear, or cat,

The last coins in my cap,

I’d send you more I would,

If I only could,

You keep looking in my heart,

It’s tearing me apart,

Such misery, it needs to stop,

Some order from the top,

But you’re just a slave, who cares,

Disposable your wares,

No votes you cast,

No questions ask,

Why should I care for you?

I just know I do,

Can relate your misery and blight,

That is surely worth a fight,

The malaise of time just now,

Has hit you hard somehow,

No one your loan secures,

It’s not even yours,

But on the street you are,

A moment past you were a star,

Now no roof to hide your head,

You’re wandering the streets instead,

So many God, so many,

Little food they have if any,

No home no more, no care,

No one their love to share,

Their owners have it really tough,

But this is really rough,

It won’t be weeks and some are dead,

Not a tear their owners shed.

Aw, Jasmin! It's good to know that so many people do care about animals. My mother has a cat that I get upset with.. it's an indoors cat, an old cat and ALWAYS cleans himself... which means hairballs! Yeah, so he'll eat the plants, even the fake ones, to make rid himself of them. What a sight! Other than that he's a very good cat. Can't imagine not having him. Thank you, Sir... for sharing and caring....

In Spirit,
Bear

Such misery, it needs to stop

If only we could enlist millions of caring souls like yourself, we could stop all this misery. I keep hoping, and working, and I truly hope that some day soon, a caring younger generation takes up the battle.

We can ask the lawmakers to pass a "Ed Kostro Law" to protect not only the well taken care of pets, but those that have no protection at all, the puppy-mills, the abandoned ones, the mistreat, and to severely punish those caught mistreating animals, because if we are a human society we need to prove it, every day, always.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
