A wheelbarrow full of cries,
Of heartfelt notes they speak,
Wheeled up a towering hill,
All ask to end the kill,
Thousands upon thousands,
They took the time to write,
Outpourings of their heart their pain,
To stop the hunt, the act of Cain,
Stop murdering the little seals,
Stop the slaughter of the hunt,
The barbaric gruesome crimes,
This so called hunt defines,
Proud was I, to carry all this mail,
Filling the barrow to the top,
From the east wing then our friend,
The barrow wheeled at entrance end,
Tall the tower we approached,
The hour bell had chimed,
He wheeled it to the Senates door,
And dumped it on the Senates floor,
There He said, there is no doubt,
What most Canadians are all about,
You had your doubts thought it a lark,
Not so my friends, said Senator Mac Harb,
The time has come to make a choice,
The bell has struck another hour,
More are coming in a while, thousands more,
Get ready friends I’m keeping score,

I've always felt if the people were of one mind, what changes they could make. But nowadays, people can talk, but when it comes down to making a stand, they don't. Good on you, my friend! A rare and much needed tally indeed.
In Spirit,
Bear
Good for You, and All Your Friends - and I hope many more wheelbarrows will follow.
So, my friend, when there are too many protesting, the politicians convert those protest in votes to themselves and they will act, not in compassion for the seals, but because those amounting protesters can put them out of their comfy chairs where they sit milking the people.

Well done, Sir! Reminded me in some way of what Roman or Athenian citizens might have undertaken.
