Unburdened of the frozen cold,
I my heavy woven cloth unfold,
My arms reach to the sun,
Another spring has sprung,
What beauty now my eyes will share,
As it tumbles through the air,
On wings of powder dust it flies,
Up and onward to the skies,
Artistic pallet wings, as light as mist,
It too be by the sunlight kissed,
Like a drunken sailor flies,
Right before my eyes,
A song escapes my heart to share,
With all those angels in the air,
Bumblebees and butterflies,
With birds and bees rise to the skies,
My steps gains flight along the path,
And dancing on the grass,
The song of birds is in the air,
The song of spring to share,
For every spring comes from the dust,
Of wings that laid to rest and rust,
Brings back the wonder of the earth,
Forever will renew its birth,
Dragonflies or angels wings,
Will show us of those things,
From dust to dust each year,
Life’s renewal cheer,
Fly with me another season,
This is life’s only reason,
On and on, kissed by the light,
Gives you and me and Angels flight.©

Be always safe,
Karen
Full of beauty, hope and light, a real ode to the season unfolding after the closure of winter. For me, stanza 6 is particularly fine.
Well done!
