The guilt trip I had laid on me about that little doggie,
I asked my little one in my heart to forgive, the only difference is that, she was pure white and it was black, and being funny and full of mischief as she always was, I thought of her first, trying to cheer me up, a Wild Turkey, I mean come on, it sure did the trick, I laughed out loud many times that morning in the backyard just picturing it, now the neighbours know for certain,
I’ve cracked. Bless you all!

Seeing things?
The night before,
Still,
Stepping all over me,
In the morning,
What do I see?
First look,
Into my garden took,
Sunshine and flowers,
Nothing special,
This time of the morning,
But this turkey,
Yeah man,
A wild turkey,
Tall and proud,
Strutted past my window,
It was six,
It was early,
Was I still sleeping?
The wife wondered,
What all the commotion,
I woke her,
Come see this,
You won’t believe,
You won’t believe what it is,
We have a visitor,
We live in the Capital,
Middle of the city,
I expect flighty things,
But the prime Minister,
I’ve got to stop drinking,
But AD isn’t helping,
I am sober writing this,
It’s about midnight,
I quickly did this write,
No need to rhyme I thought,
Turkeys don’t fly do they,
Prime Ministers don’t lie, eh?
I don’t either,
So there,
I thought,
I needed to share.©

Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.

(back into the woods) I guess -- it was delightful having them around -- I too wrote a poem about the occasion, "Three Ladies" -- thanks fors haring an experience all would enjoy -- peace and love --Jon Michael
Be always safe,

I think you should put out some turkey food, and hide in the bushes, and see what happens. And don't smoke any of that old Jersey Devil's whacky weed while you're a hidin there - turkeys have a keen sense of smell!

Whatever you're having I'd like some, too. Weird and wonderful!
