more rotten news this morning, there don't seem to be a stop, unless people are willing to confront it, if they care.

Exactly what is the truth?
Buried deep in them thar hills you find,
But not on everybody’s mind,
Misery and torture, and puppy mills uncouth,

But why I asked is it allowed?
On man’s best friend cause so much suffering still,
Hidden deep in country’s dale and hill,
What is this about?

Are you saying out of sight out of mind?
What could you think, what could you do,
It you knew all this was true ,
Not go and help those bastards find,

Assaulting your best friend they are, and to his wife and child unkind,
If your love for them is true ,
Would you not for vengeance sue?
Would you not like Bunker Hill, free the tortured and confined,

Let your weapon be your vote, your X,
And your army be your friends,
Make sure this crime now ends,
Put on all of them the hex!©

Great job! This is such a tragic subject. God bless animals! It's so unbelievable that humans can be so cruel. We've been around for thousands of years, and yet we have not evolved!

The love of money is the root of evil. I don't know if we have to hex them, Jasmin. Their true love condemns them..........Jerry

Jasmin, an excellent reminder to all citizens that the greatest power we have as individuals, in what is still a democracy, is our vote in elections -- vote out all of the bad ones and hope that the ones we vote in will honor their campaign promises -- although that is not always true as we are now witnessing -- peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael

Good points and a hex! maybe that too. I'll go out on a limb here with regard to dogs and puppy mills in particular. Dogs, like people are pack animals. The worst thing one can to to a dog or a human is to segregate him or her from society. We have prisons where we place the most antisocial of people, for our protection. But to put puppies in cages until they are sold, and they are innocent by the way, is cruel. Dogs have brains which need to be developed, not stifled behind bars for up to months at a time. They need a leader and they need to give and receive affection. It should be illegal to operate any and all puppy/profit operations. Our little boy has been given an enriched environment and knows he is loved. He can fetch up to 15 of his toys by name and worries if he forgets to bring one in at night. He cries for it til we let him out to get it. We absolutely adore him and to think of him being locked away in a small enclosure for ant reason is anathema to us. I think only families should breed dogs and let them socialize right from the beginning. Just my impassioned thoughts. J'nia

I just want to know what their excuses will be, because accountability are coming for sure, but then again, what kind of "humans" are those that are ready to perform torture to animals or to people?
Monsters are not necessarily under your bed.

Jasmin,
Once again your caring, compassionate heart and sense of right rage pour out in these strong lines; with you all the way.

Puppies for Profit is a rising trend in this economy. They closed down two in our area, thanks to people who cared. Poor hapless creatures. But for every scoundrel who breeds pups for profit, there are a hundred who truly love and care for animals, thank Providence. Bless your heart, Jasmin and keep spreading the word...

Hugs, Lin

Hi Jasmin, It is horrendous... and what people do to animals is a reflection of what they do to people. It's criminal with a mask of silence... so glad that you will tell about it.... stay strong my friend...

In Spirit,
Bear

The thought of animals being treated that way makes me sick and something should be done to stop it. How could anyone so such things to innocent creatures who only want to be loved and cared for?

"More rotten news this morning" It's gotten to the point that all news is rotten, and horrendous. And our cruelty as a species seems to know no end - puppy mills, dog nabbing, laboratory torture, illegal dog fighting operations - and all of our cruelty seems to stem from people chasing the almighty dollar. What a truly sad species we've become.
