The nature of this planet,
Shapes dust and gives it growth,
A chrysalis and wings,
And so its nature goes,

In cycles round and round,
One day you are alive,
The other, dead you’re found,
But still in dust survive,

Potentially this dust you see,
Another life it bears,
It could be you, or me,
But nice if someone cares,

The caring and the love,
Gives meaning to it all,
Sends us on wing above,
Before we finally fall,

But still the dust remains,
Nor is it lifeless still,
For other growths it aims,
For that is natures will.©07/07/2009

Ahh, very poignant, Jasmin. Life is fundamental to the meaning of the universe, and the caring and the love does give meaning to it all. The essence of love is God, and God is love. I think that if we ever are actually to proceed in space exploration, we will find that the dust of life is everywhere as the manifestation of the creativity of God.....Jerry

Whatever will happen to "from dust to dust" if people continue blowing on it?

Oh yes Jasmin, you state it well in this fluent poem, that is why everything is always "becoming" no beginning or end, just eternal happenings...ET ;-0

I like this Jasmin. We all would like to think something good sprouts from our demise. Patrick
