Are we that obtuse to the pain and suffering, not making the effort to really pressure all legislators to move quick on this issue, are we?
I just received a letter from a premier in Australia excusing the gross killings of Roos, he explains all kinds of reason, but what stuck with me, was the apparent it's an industry and employs four thousand people,,,,,,,need I say more?

From puppy mills,
And testing labs,
Factory farms, and slaughter,
Bullfights, dogfights and other things,
Rodeos, canned hunting,
Fur farms, trapping, etc,
Circuses, and zoos,
Of all could sing the blues,
It be a song that last for days,
Far too many notes and lyrics,
In far too many cruel ways,
To imitate the cries and suffering,
A sax would need for shrieks,
A base for their despair,
That would their desperation share,
Such hurt and tears in such abandon,
Billions in a year, for wanton,
Or for greed, macho sport,
Or apparent human need,
Man has made the old excuse,
They are here for us, to use,
Think again my friend,
Soon it be your end,
Wishful thoughts you might employ,
That forgiveness you’ll enjoy,
But think again, think hard and long,
Your soul will sing that song,
Always and forever dear,
Soon too, your end is near,
Memories are banked in you,
Make you happy, or make you blue,
If for paradise you sue.©31/08/2009

Please, watch, this was taken now, 2009 in the civilized land of Norway!

Next time you see a fur in a display window, remember the video from the Network for Animal Freedom of Norway.

There are very few valid reasons to attack an animal species. Winnow out the reasons that weren't caused by humans and the the valid reasons pretty much drops to zero. We are arrogant shits. Patrick

You are a dear heart with many missions, my friend. Not disputing the sadness of your poetic message, Jaz, but I recently read a very interesting article about the 70 million roos in Australia:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/08/080822-kangaroo-meat.html
The pros and cons weigh heavy on this matter and not an easy one to resolve...then...life never takes the easy road, does it.

Saw a doc on tv. tells just how 'bad' the roos are for the countryside.
Maybe you missed it?
I have not made my mind up yet either way.
Still its early days huh?

Precisely my point, where to begin when we don't even value human life anymore....

Be always safe,

JASMIN,

Thank you bringing this travesty to light. Man doesn't realize when they're killing these poor creatures, they're also killing themselvies.

My blues have been going on for many years now,
I'll probably be singin 'em 'til the day I die;
I guess I'm just not smart enough to figure out,
Why mankind is the cruelest being on Earth - Why?
