Tall towers on sand they rest,
Quick sand and quickie fix,
All thrown in to the mix,
Rotten their foundations test,
There are tons of illicit bonds and cash,
Underpinning all that wealth,
But the real gold, the stash,
Absconded overnight with stealth,
Still we pay their outstretched greedy hands,
The hard earned money of the land,
Give in to blackmail, their demands,
To much, this is, to understand,
Billions forever billions now in debt,
Forever and ever more,
Cause, greedy financiers and the inept,
Hard times are now in store,
The hardest hit and suffering most of all,
The lowest on the scale,
Be it human, cat, or dog, that by the wayside fall,
Yet few the crooks are now in jail,
Begging in the streets we do,
For cat food, dog food, or a meal,
This is a nightmares zoo,
But don’t you dare to steal,
Only crooks in ivory towers,
Carry cards, that in the biggest letters read,
Hotels, three meals, and showers,

Only crooks in ivory towers can.
How so sadly true, and somewhere along the line, mankind must have really been asleep. There is far more 'legal theft' today, than illegal theft, and most of the high roller legal thieves literally 'get away with murder.'
But God forbid a homeless man steals a can of pet food for his dog; All Hell Breaks Loose.
