A pattern, short term here and now.....
Love where are you? A moment ago I knew, But now you’re gone, At the first light of dawn, You woke me with kisses everywhere, A peck here and there you’d share, The sun streamed through the window pane, I know you thought, wasting sunrise a shame, You knew my routine and got me up, To serve you breakfast of cherries without stop, Some fresh ground hamburger meat, These things you’d love to eat, But always you came back about an hour or so, To get more cherries and just say hello, Today though nowhere you are, You must have flown away far, Or I hope not the hawk or a cat, I warned you so often of that, Or did you really head south, Without even a peck on the mouth, I hope for the best, my God, do I love you, My little love, my little booboo, I thought you might stay, But now you flew away, The solar light you enjoyed you sat under so long, You knew it was just for you, that bargain had won, A pond and garden with branches ant twigs, And lots of good soil for you to catch tics, An entrance door for you to come and go, Into the stucco would sew, But now you’re gone, you flew away, My heart is broke why couldn’t you stay? No prisoner you were, flew free all about, Came in with the rain, or a dark cloud, I hope you’re alright, and God forbid, You would fall prey to a cat, or got hit, Hear my prayer, for tonight is so lonesome, No treats, no kisses, just worries please come home, Or send me a note just to say you’re all right, That going down south you had a great flight, I’m waiting; I’ll be calling all day, like today, I wish I too, could with you fly away, Be it south, or to heavens blue, All my love, wherever you are is flying with you!©15/09/2009

Sorry your friend left you, Jasmin. My guess is that booboo headed south. Maybe she and a mate will return in the spring to raise a brood....Jerry

I sure hope and pray you see booboo again Jas, that would be hard to bear. But we know they may seem like tamed pets, yet they are wild, and who knows maybe there's a mate involved;-) Think on the good things!she might come back with a big belly;-)

Ahhhh, dear Jas...how heartbreaking for you (and us) that li'l BooBoo has flown away. Must be his natural instinct to fly South, and maybe find a mate...now, just realize you made that all possible for the wee one by your care and love. Keep up hope, if not for tomorrow, then for Spring.

So very sorry to hear this, my friend. Perhaps instinct took over, and he had no choice but to follow it, and head south. My robins are already gone; I won't see them again until spring. And I hope you will once again see your little guy.
