No matter your beliefs' He certainly reigns supreme above all philosophies, what a much poorer world it would have been without him. Frohe Weihnachten!

Of jumbled tongues and stones,
Still whisper wagging tongues,
Still babble on, in Babylon,
In Washington,
Paris, London, or Berlin,
All around the world,
From Java, to Peking,
Wherever Humans gather,
Words are spoken,
And sometimes broken,
The world still babbles on,
New temples high we raised,
Now called United Nations,
Will it reach that elevation?
That wisdom word creation,
That springs from love,
And raise it high above,
But I’m afraid you’ll find,
No new words, in that there grind,
Nothing really changed,
Only babble, rearranged,
New words we need,
To turn around,
Untangle ancient deed,
Where sticks and stones abound,
Would I say soul?
And you would too,
Would it mean the same?
Also, to me and you,
But by the curse of HIM on high,
You know the reason why,
Never will it happen,
Despite that poets try,
Yet maybe, HE, made a slip,
Maybe shooting from the hip,
Forgot, we would be trying,
His ban on common words defying,
And so much fun we’d have,
For this common pain make salve,
Are we, in contravention?
Might HE, put us in detention,
Is it a quirk, which drives us on?
A challenge put upon,
He cannot catch us quick,
In our determined wit,
before our meanings would,
Be fully understood,
We’d long be gone,
But some, are brazen bold,
Don’t wait for future glory,
With silver tongue,
Spew words of gold,©24/12/2009

And to all those that are, now and then,
My friends on AD
I salute you
Especially, on days like this,
God’s son this earth did kiss,
Bless you all, Jasmin Horst

Ne'er a Truer word spoken or written...Babble on, yes indeed. To what end, many wonder...Truth be told eventually, but in what tongue, Babble or another?
Blessings to you dear friend

The thing about Babylon is that it was essentially a patriarchal system, look at Taimat, Tehom, to whome it is alluded the later Genesis mythology of creation stems in the forms of Tohu and Bohu, a conflict of two mighty primordial creature locked in mortal combat in the abyss. So I find little comfort in the Abrahamic religions & their various descriptions of their monotheistic deities, or the confusion existing in their various ambiguous names or titles. However, this I suppose is somewhat of our inheritance, new words for old, you say, but where, how, words are ghosts perhaps, still your poem certainly unleashed a worthy diatribe, it's good to see in your country people still have the courage & perception to object to some of the absurd beliefs they are enslaved to. The long sad story of mankind; and I don't think things will change any time soon. But have yourself a Merry Little Christmas, my friend.
