There is'nt much time, anyone has some solid answers? I mean logical, you know like Archimedes etc

I hoped, didn’t you?
All made sense in the end,
Now that I’m almost there,
Still I haven’t a clue,
What all of it had meant,
Ghost and goblins and preachers tall,
Then lay me in that hole so small,

I struggled, I twisted and turned,
In storms of life to find some calm,
Some refuge, peace and joy,
Though mostly little earned,
Sometimes, find some lucky alms,
Soon now, it won’t be long indeed,
Peace I’ll find, in this earth so deep,

Although just a thought, will it last?
I ask, might you know, my friends,
Mother Earth my treasure she receives,
All I was, or will she fast?
Tie me up in new garments,
Will it be the smallest quark?
New life in me would spark?

The struggle start anew to find the sun,
Under canopy of shade maybe,
Or dusty desert plain,
So manifold the tales she’s spun,
Will peace I ever see?
The spinning wheel she turns, the rug she weaves,
How then, when peace, and death, she never grieves.©03/01/2010

Jasmin, you are an evidence for what you question for in your poem. At least, to me you are. You are a person who searches for the right in life, and you have done your best. You are cognizant of your own life and the lives of others. These make no sense without something beyond. Otherwise, all was vanity and chasing the wind, and they fly in the face of logic..........Jerry

Amazing how many ways we can find to seek new ways to nuance beliefs picking them apart to know them ,yet somehow never really knowing them. You're good at this Jasmin;-)!luv,etw

This one really has me thinking, very philosophical and written quite well.

Ole' Ma is quite content to leave the grieving to us. Her version of peace probably doesn't include us, except maybe as fertilizer for mushrooms. Patrick

I don't need a clue, I fixed a couple of wings in my garage, with wax and feathers, but not like Icarus, I will fly the heck away from the sun when going to see Peace!

Still I haven’t a clue,
What all of it had meant

I doubt that most of us really do, yet we trudge on.

"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust"
is giving back to the essence
I enjoyed reading this Jasmin
though I am opting for cremation
& tranformation into the black diamond
or the art they create from the body...
