the twists and turns depend on the music you hear, and who you are dancing with, we are so close, Jasmin and I, we dance as one.

Dancing, heavenly music surrounds me,
a trance, trumpet blasts from my soul,
a cacophony of a symphony, warring happiness,
all but memory, not the future, do I see,

Veils gently wrap my heart my soul,
some silk, some cotton, linen or damask,
toes stepping unravelling me, my own,
a searching light to see me naked, whole,

Competing tunes in tempos swift,
colours drift apart, together,
bind, unravel, and turn me round,
soft, gently, hands give me a lift,

Turn and turn I do, naked now,
new swaddling cloth I wear,
see through nylon silk and mesh,
applause; I take a bow,

Glorious light, my blindness sees,
I dance, new music do I hear,
beneath my feet the wrappings,
begging dance, I hear their pleas,

New in light and colours, silk and satin,
the veils of seven join, we flirt,
all is dancing, in joy in wild abandon,
Rumba tunes, Scheherazade, and Latin,

The lamp fusing twirling smoke and mist,
to heaven dance in colours magic,
in join all the veils, wherein my soul,
my heart then, by an Angel kissed,

A vine of angel flowers pure and white,
fragrant garlands cling to me,
Cover all I am, all I’ll be,
fused together in the light.©07/02/2010

Dance of the gods. Dance on, dear Jasmin. Veils of the heart beautifully lifted and revealed...

I think this is beautiful, Jasmin, a moment of supreme meditation unveiling your gentle soul to reveal insights in rhythm of heaven...Jerry

Kiss the angel. Do the dance. This could lead to some romance. Brought here naked, leave it so, in the meantime go go go. Patrick

What, it was this, this thing I rubbed, not the Grand Marnier if you please, besides I am an excellent dancer Georg, you hurt my feelings severely, yes there was thunder and lightening, but it was the Valkyre upstairs..........it's all smoke and mirrors anyway, and so now, that I've been caught, I'm too embarrassed to write anymore poetry, that's it, I'm sorry I've had it, I hope you're happy you bums ha. LOVE! Jasmin Horst

You've given me a picture of the Bird Whisperer, heavy sack of birdseed on his back, dancing his way through the snowy woods. Do you play the flute, too?

Jasmin, sorry about, but the only time I see you dancing is with Wagner's amok symphony and lightning and thunder from Valhalla and in the background Sherezade dancing a rumba? too much Grand Marnier I think! (LOL)

Georg

love what George C just said...and whoever said 'poetry exceeding music' (Wallace Stevens, wasn't it?) didn't mean it, I'm sure; here is poetry wrapped in music and music in poetry. Gorgeous, but small sips only, Jasmin, of that Grand Marnier!!
