I hang like a vine, loose and limp,
On a trellis of the universe,
Flowers like stars shine from the dark,
Like poetry and verse,
Fragrances whisper to the senses,
From trellises and fences,
The birds of love they sing,
Again, again, it’s spring,
In moonlight on a bench they swing,
Whispering sweet nothings coy,
A moment’s rapture that is love,
Lovers, blessed from up above,
All that is, it comes from love,
Creations hand of God,
In that I am, a spark thereof,
And blessings from above,
No more, no less, as all there is,
Every creature, small and large,
The flowers all, and stars above,
All are blessings from above.
I am not, that is not love,
With all it’s measures cup,
Some pain, some tears, and bliss,
Of loves eternal kiss.©26/05/2010
