The spring of life without regrets

I used to wonder, evermore,
What lie beneath the yonder?
It held a special lore,
Such thoughts I’d often ponder,

The pussy willows fluffy tuft,
In damp and wet they grew,
So tender fair and soft,
Oft my heart to them me drew,

A stream there was, a maiden seam,
The mother earth on them betroth,
Such beauty did she dream,
So soft as wings of moth,

Where upon often laid my head,
Where silken folds a pillow laid,
Where one sweet dream to others led,
There often entered heavens gate,

I such dreams did oft pursue,
Not ever did they guide me wrong,
Such dreams I’d share with Jen or Sue,
And lists of others far too long,

Would I in Eden find such dreams?
In heavenly abode,
The only one I doubt it seems,
Of promises of note,

But as it be in nature’s realm,
Mother Nature means it well,
My thoughts and age me overwhelm,
On different thoughts I often dwell,

Take a rest says Mother Earth,
You’ve wandered many paths,
Entered gates with beauty blessed,
Exhausted you it hath,

Lay down your head, your crocket staff,
Another gate you’ll enter soon,
Where pussy willowed angels laugh,
Those play beneath the moon,

She lays her hand upon my head,
Near her bosom on the ground,
New seeds will spring from flowers dead,
New promised dreams there soon be found.©03/01/2011

So in touch, Jasmin, so wise and understanding, you don't just look, you see and such seeing is everything.

I wonder sometimes about that place too.
If there are no golf courses or whitewater rivers,
why would I want to go there........Then again there are,
the pussy willowed angels.
