A deed indeed

Protesting the cheap thrill, their wallets to fill, an innocent creature would they kill, a creature that for days, in farmers trap it lays. No it's not a pest, it's a being of God, rightfully foraging wherever it still can, it has no title to the land from it's creator, they are all taken by this species a long time ago.

Whose permission do I need?
Think about it for a while,
Do I need, from God a deed?
That with Him and priest I file,
 
Who had the thought of grandeur bold?
To wrest this title from the Lord,
In visions, dreams, in days of old,
What treasures would such trade afford?
 
The bush that burned he set afire,
Then talks and hears his voice,
Who’d dare call him a liar?
Though still they had a choice,
 
Their heads they bow, and call him King,
Though some, they had their doubt,
Especially, not those his kin,
Scattered there just all about,
 
The deed in thought, and staff in hand,
A raging sea he parted soon,
Onward leads a flock to a Promised Land,
To make God’s word there bloom,
 
Abrahams tears, and all his toil,
And warriors between God and man,
Has bloodied much this arid soil,
To bring Gods vision if he can,
 
But as it is then further on,
When making idols hold the laws,
When God alone, and heathen gone,
The breath of war will not take pause,
 
This poor Coyote gave me thought,
He never made a deed with God,
He knew, the land could not be bought,
Never once, his kin over God they fought,
 
Now chews his foot, of man’s laid trap,
Where God’s most deeded species lives,
Soon this gruesome deed, his life will sap,
The chosen though no shit he gives,  `
 
A woeful howl to God does cry,
Lord, why, did I not get a deed,
Or is it all just one big lie,
A lie, to serve their boundless greed.©13/11/2012

why this suffering, why this deliberate
cruelty? i am so ashamed of my own kind when
i see this, so ashamed.

You have made your point so well it's hard to believe that the true believers out there don't get it. We have saved the wolves from extinction in the lower 48, but now we are killing them for the same old reasons––praise the Lord!

A woeful howl to God does cry

I find myself howling and crying a lot these days at the abysmal, hellish, agonizing tortures that we now put so many of God's creatures through. It's not bad enough that we now kill any creature in our path, many now delight in inflicting as much pain on them as possible. And some still insist that we are 'God's Children.'

I can almost feel that poor animal's pain. Your words are of justified anger and of the shame we should all feel when we visit such awful suffering on innocent creatures. A curse on humankind for this and even non-religious people will one day hear the words 'vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord' as they are cast into pits of suffering by the inexorable laws of karma.
