One mans memory of days gone by.

I gaze out from this yellow cab
And the changes that I see
They say its for the better now
But I simply can't agree

The fifties and the sixtie's
What a great and powerful time
Of Cadalacs and drive in shows
The doors, and Patsy Cline

I look back at all those carefree times
And my heart it fills with pain
I miss those years so very much
And I crave them back again

But my fine times are distant memories
When we'd ride out on sunny days
Run our Harley's across America
In our own and carefree ways

Cause' nature has this terrible plan
That when your old and grey
Your usefulness has served its point
And your quickly thrown away

And the world will still go spinning on
When your cold and in your grave
To think you made a difference friend
Is simply just naive

But for now i'll stick to dreaming
Cause dreaming is all I can do
So I'll go to sleep and leave this world
And those days, I'll think of you
