your ballroom days are over, baby

I glance across the room,
where the wall flowers bloom
and I roam,
My eyes catch a hint of thigh,
perhaps a dance,
fat chance,
I can dream can’t I

your ballroom days are over, baby
while I dream I’m young again

I  feel the second heart beat,
beat, beat, beating breathlessly
It’s my past and so also my youth,
so incessantly
I gain access to the beach
I see a belly dancer
her feathers moving with the breeze,
float, float, floating
my eyes on her thigh

your ballroom days are over, baby
but not my lying on the beach

I feel the sweat oozing,
ooze, ooze, oozing down her thighs
The oils run down her back,
I have to rub it in honey
so don’t deny yourself the chance,
fat chance,
you had your romance

your ballroom days are over, baby
as I search for a shady spot

We could just lie here on this blanket
and cool down while I rub the lotion in
She’s gleaming,
gleam, gleam, gleaming in the sun
as I feel her hot bottom I notice her lips
are parted in passionate resonance
while I have my dream,
We make love, kissing
kiss, kiss, kissing feverishly

your ballroom days are over, baby
I can still dance a hot rumba

In the sandy beach on grains of fever,
I reach, reach, reach,
reach out to cover her
I feel her tongue in my mouth, fiery
We play French roulette,
as we sip our drinks
sip, sip, sip,
sipping one another under the palm trees
I feel a breeze

your ballroom days are over, baby
I can do a tango with the best of them

Fat chance,
but still I romance

Wonderful fun, but no way are your ballroom days behind you.
Your eyes and your spirit dance, and you swing 'n' sway. . .tell the truth. Got the beat down! Will have as long as there is breath in your body. Tango is proof! Talk about sensual. M o v e s! As far as I am concerned, if you tango, you r o c k. Are
a g e l e s s. But I already knew. Your words dance! :) 'Pea' <3

Bitter pill or shall I say "stone" swallowed here in this powerful, dramatic write. Conjures up memories of late 40's, early 50's film for some reason. Maybe the images or dialogue. You really should try your hand at writing scripts, Dale. Leaves an impression that's hard to shake...Lin
