Beach Time. A time for wonder and the clearest of thoughts.

"Moment On The Beach"

Here I stand on Okinawa's coral shore and knowing I've never been here before, I see a ship passing from my left and wonder from where it has come.

I ponder the people on board; how they look, how they speak and what we would say if we were to greet.

The far away friends and vessel glide upon the slate to where the white water breaks.

No larger than my outstretched hand, the ship remains afloat by invisible strings manned by clouds.

The clouds pull the diminutive ship along and it is leaving me.
