They'll hang you for your morality in this day and age, where murder of convenience is king.
Who is that man?
The one over there,
who keeps shouting "it's unfair."
Doesn't he know that
it's not getting him
anywhere?
Why are the women there
Screaming that they're fair
to spread their legs for cash
and spend it to cure a rash
of children they don't want to pay for?
Impropriety of society
calling out your name.
They know it's just a game,
life and death are meaningless things
only worth the paper
you're printed on.
Who knows why
the children die?
Those who would kill in vain
to make life easier, they say
it's their right,
yet deny you the same right
to defend yourself in the night
from those who
are armed to the teeth.
I swing at the end
of a knotted rope
never knowing when
it becomes a noose.
