Solitary in the dark waiting patiently for sunlight
Princess Amina sauntered in
Walking elegantly like the Empress in the inn
Espying her alone wrenched out a bullet from his heart
Like he’s ne’er seen anyone so brilliant looking on this earth

At first he thought he was in lust
Little did he know that in love he was lost
Tears filled his eyes
‘Cause he’s been turned down many times he’s tried
This made his tribute tied

Through the rope he went for her
But she was elope in the tie
Again he tried but he got himself arrested
In his reverie his thought was rested
Princess Amina wasn’t interested

He tried pulling strings
But he got bee stings
Nothing good comes free
In his dreams he sleeps for two days
The trees call out Princess Amina
Even the dust rises to spell P.A
All in his dreams

Wary he finds he is in a quandary
Walking he ascertains he is in the halfway stirring at the devil’s doleful eyes
Got lambasted by the Princess’ guards
All for Princess Amina

Although he is in persistence
It takes diligence to declare his existence
‘Cause she is too full of intelligence
He believes that life’s good but love is better

There is no showdown for the crown
Though he is a clown
For this course he might melee
In prayers he contacts Aphrodite and her son Eros
Bring me Helen of Troy, he says

Amidst cleverness and eloquence
She played the coquette
He pursued her like summer butterflies
And like butchers killing flies

When he saw Princess Amina has his lola-lola
A new planet loomed in his horizon
Her cool bright face which didn’t ask for anything
This simply existed waiting
It was an empty face, he thought

A face that could change with any wind of expression
One could dream into it anything
It was like a beautiful empty house waiting for carpets and pictures
It had all possibilities
It could become a palace or a brothel
It depended on one who filled it
Were all his thought

He tried again but he got turned down
Like clasping water
In her belief he’s for pleasures
Little did she know that she is fiercely treasured
His heart has turned a lion
Only Princess Amina can command

When he sits abode her shadows
Happiness lumps his joy
He’s ne’er craved for someone like this
He apologies but deep down he is in

She turned him down again and again
If only he could posses her
Without her he feels emptiness
It’s a shame that his flame cannot be tamed

Whenever they came face to face
“What do you want from me?”
She would allege
He is speechless and left breathless
If you were in his shoes what would you do?
