Many Fathers are away from their loved ones this Father's Day, because of the war. Please pray for them and their children! This poem was written from the view point of a child.
My Daddy is a soldier and is far away from me,
He is fighting in a war, so other people can be free.
It's Father's Day, but my Daddy can't be here,
I have to be brave and not shed a tear.
I wish my Daddy could be home and not over there,
My Daddy is a hero, he is loving and he cares.
Mama says that Bad People want to hurt Daddy, I'd put them in jail!
Daddy's letters are so sad, when we get a letter in the mail.
Please GOD, give the world a time out, like when I am bad,
Make everybody say," Sorry!", so I can have my Dad!
My Daddy is my bestest friend, he means the world to me,
My Daddy is a soldier and I am proud as I can be!

As much as I am neither religious, a soldier or a father I did lose my father to the last Gulf War 17 years ago. This is a very touching poem that reflects how i also felt as a child when my dad was killed.
The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
