What is my true destiny? I feel as though I must still seek it!

The day departs in a blaze of glory, the night comes with a whimpered sigh,
As each day ends, I find it harder to tell it good-bye.
I wonder, will tomorrow bring a joyful event?
Or sadness, to make my heart lament?
As I embark upon my Vision Quest, the winds of change urge me on,
As I wander aimlessly, I am a nomad, searching for where I belong.
With each step, I feel my old self fade away,
I am burning and from the ashes I will rise up and face a new day.
My past self was shrouded with misery and pain,
Within the dawning of self discovery, I walk in the cleansing rain.
I am floating above the lifeless mass, that was once me,
I am no longer earthbound, my spirit can roam free.
Earthly burdens no longer impale my heart,
The blood has stopped seeping, wounds have healed as the morphing starts.
Shadow Woman's Vision Quest now begins,
What will remain when the complete transformation has come to an end?
