My Reason for Writing
I write not to please or to delight others,
The grown-ups or even my closest brothers
I don’t write out of my imagination
Not out of my sightseeing or observation
I write what my life experience showed me
What my soul understood and taught me
I don’t seek titles, grades, or awards
I write not forcefully, but what is right,
Just to thank my glowing, golden spark
That confirms my thoughts, day or eve
Or during autumn with its dry leaves
Gives me remorse when I am wrong
Fills my heart with the best song
Awards my soul, with joy, if I am right

Me, too, Emile. Most of my writings, whether stories or poetry, are from life experiences. Yet I have that silly, imaginative side to me where my writings oft' spring from; along with messages of importance to me, then I speak loudest :o).
Note...I'm catching up with your works...

Two of your lines really struck me with their truth and beauty:
I write what my life experience showed me
What my soul understood and taught me...
