Remembering Mom

Today is better than any other day.
 I felt the need to write something,
Around me it was calm, as to say,
Outside everything seems like spring.
The sky was so clean and bright
Its color inspired me to write
Mom used to say “Don’t fight.
What you wish for, should be light,
Use your heart and not your might”
Our life is beauty without sight,
Without using imagination,
Intellect, thought or improvisation
What you will discover may well be
No land, no mountains, no sea,
No worries, no darkness, no night
But yourself surrounded by light.
