Questions and answers about the human destiny, seen from my desk.
Our Destiny
Can one jump over one’s shadow When walking over life’s meadow? Some say they are facing a wall Others want only to play ball But our destiny is leading, to forge us In order to discover that life’s gorgeous Without destiny we would be like a candle Without a flame, in the dark we could not handle Irrelevant who one is, as long as he is a human being No one can change his special imprint we keep seeing Irrelevant where we are, as long as we do our best We may be in the South, the North, the East or the West What is important is who we are, that’s our quest Some struggle and find out and some just rest But like a pigeon we should not forget from where we come When our time arrives some will know where they came from Unknowingly we are interconnected with all humanity Independently from our understanding or curiosity Some say we are connected through blood, or through race Others say thru religion, national goals, as it may be the case I would say we are connected through the stream of Love

A beautiful way to look at it Emile, being connected through the stream of love. I believe you are right, but only partially for if we all were so connected the world would be a much better place. I think we have to work on those who are connected by hate to show by example there is a better way. Fine poem!
