Reason of my Praying, is an author inspiration after seing the beautiful sky

Reason of my Praying

The sun was already behind the hill

The horizon became redder still

The blue sky showed its beautiful resources

I was happy, I prayed to all the sacred forces

“I thank you for having given me this sight,

Beautiful colors and deep space, before the night”

A friendly and silent sadness enveloped my soul

I stopped and blessed my village, and all,

The people that I once met in the world’s other part

Memories of a faraway land filled my heart

A message sent to me from afar

A feeling covered my being as I saw the evening star

It came to me as a nice perfume and a smile

Faces I have not seen for a while

Faces of friends, who left us, telling me

We are in another sphere but in the same place.

As long as in your heart you can see our face

One after the other saying, please, pray for me.

The north star in the sky, first one seen at night, guides you when lost and takes you to where you want to go. This poetry does take me to another place, a place called Heaven, where I want to go. Good very good write.

In the stillness, in the night, a most appropriate time for contemplation and awareness. Your words expressed, almost as a sonnet, the need for prayer...for others and for ourselves, too.
"Faces of friends, who left us, telling me
We are in another sphere but in the same place.
As long as in your heart you can see our face..."

I especially like this, and feel its truth.

Blessings and prayers for you, Emile.

This poem... ah... the quiet contemplative, near reverence in it...
It took me there and made me one with the sky, the night, the stars, the feelings of awareness and memories that are there. I never feel closer to God than when I am gazing at His wonders...
