In my family, in order to avoid hurting the feelings of anyone, they taught us to speak with proverbs, to characterize any situation.
From My Family Heritage Those who with arrogance and pride will leap will never be wise or get very deep Those who want to clean their veins should get rid of their pains Poverty teaches us endurance and patience While circumstances lead to celebrations Those who want to eat the others' bread Their seeds in all directions should spread

Dear Emile...I wish that you would share many more of these honest and meaningful family proverbs for all to read. Seems the younguns of today don't listen to or have time for their elders, from whom they could learn how to really live.

The wises are dying out and so the ones that remember proverbs, leaving the world to generations that have only learn how to express all with a shrug of their shoulders.
