In our beautiful world, will one day people understand each other, if one neighbor does not understand his neighbor?

Everyone Speaks His Own Language

Today I had a visit of one of our neighbors.
I offered him a cup of coffee
We sat in our living room
And spent an hour together.
He was so happy -
He thanked me for the coffee and said:
"It  was nice seeing you and your lovely wife."
Then just before he left  he said:
"We had a great conversation,
I enjoyed it very much ".
After he left, I looked at my wife and said:
"We didn't say a word,
He was the only one who spoke. "
She answered me: "Let him believe
That he had a good conversation with us."
I replied: "You are right, let him be happy,
We may have made his day".
Then I continued,: "Now you understand,
Why we need the United Nations.
The world is still turbulent.
Let everyone talk in his language".

Emil - You've touched on something most of us fail to realize, and that is that sometimes others just need for someone to listen, - David

How lovely and true your message is, Emile! Recently I went to a Middle Eastern restaurant and wanted to thank the cook for my delicious and healthy meal; the owner told me she didn't speak English, and I told him everyone understands my international-sign-language...and it begins with a smile and my hands over my heart. She knew, and I got a big hug of thanks from her and the owner. It's so easy to express one's feelings when we begin with a smile; appreciation to others is always welcomed.
Blessings and Love - Micke

Emile, as long as everybody is talking...nobody is fighting. God gave us our tongue to clear matters in a civilized manner, Satan gave us the hands so we could grab anything to use as s weapon, yes, as long as we talk...peace as a chance.
