Against all the odds honest people will always emerge.

Our Democracy

Democracy enables him to be on top
Instead we received a complete flop
For millions it was a symbol of hope
No one knows how to survive or to cope

He promised heaven on earth
We got the devaluation of our worth,
Based on his promises he got elected,
Our good people one by one are affected

His promises were pretty rife
Instead he is damaging our way of life
Secret meeting by excluding the nation
Held in a different place and location

Millions of people fought for liberty
We have now distress and poverty
One man damaged our reputation
By destroying belief and our foundation

However, it is up to us to realize
That’s just a question of time and size
Trees do not grow into the sky
We’ll surmount the hardship and get by.

Thank you for offering hope in what seems a hopeless situation.

I do love the optimistic note on which you close your poem, Emile. Where are we without hope? Merci mon ami. Amour et paix,

Regis

Very true and very well described, Emile. Simply a phony and a fake.

The more they build them up, the harder they fall. I think Obama was nothing more than a slick PR campaign all along. You can tell the tree by its fruits. Nice one.

A pure patriotic write of a despot who wants to be a dictator and right now has all the power to be one and is doing just that. Can he bring down America any more than he has before the American people call for his impeachment or removal by other means according to law?

Right on Emile. He promised us the pie, but it was neither apple, cherry, or chocolate cream, instead it has been a mud pie. This was an exceptional writing by you, Emile.

GOD BLESS
Tony

Time we begin fighting back don't you think? It is now up to all of us to save our nation before all is lost...

Be always safe,
Karen
