At the End of 2009

The ending year brought us surprises,
for some, happy ones
for others, painful ones.

I hope that everyone realizes
that although we are separated
by distance, culture, we are still together.  

We are grateful for every experience
which everyone has to pass
to realize what life is all about.

We have to remember
That without those experiences 
we would be like candles without the flame. 

We also realize that whether we were good or not,
As writers or poets, this year has given us
the opportunity to learn from one another
and to be companions on this journey which is called life. 

I am particularly thankful to everyone,
who is part of our circle
and to the founder of AuthorsDen. 

We form a certain homogeneous entity
which connects us through the pen,
through the internet, and through eternity  

For some, life is a nice experience
and for others it is a challenging one
which shapes their life -
Each one as per his or her view and destiny.

Some are questioning the purpose of life,
some are realizing what life entails. 
I have no expectations from life; I take it as it is.

My first advice to everyone who reads me,
life is beautiful,  it is up to as to make the best of it. 
One should not despair, as no one knows
what the future is holding for us.

My next advice is, one should follow the dimmer light
As to avoid the dangerous brilliant and dazzling one.
This advice is valid for life on earth and beyond.

My third advice, be good to everyone and to anything living
Life is not what we learn in school and in the books.
We feel it with our instrument, which we call our being. 
It teaches us many things as per our refined sensitivity.

I would have liked to review 
everyone in our circle more often,
but  my time did not allow me to do so
As I work to earn a living.

I am on my computer from morning
Till early next morning.  
Please make a note, that all of you
are in my heart and in my thoughts.
