My Parents’ Sayings

I recall having heard sayings that my elders used to tell during cold winter days.

My Parents’ Sayings

I came to tell him about my pain
“Mine is worse” I heard’m complain.

Hold on to the bad you know
Lest a worse may come and grow

The tired one and the rested one
Sleep differently when the day is done

I accepted my distress
It did not accept me, I guess.

How often have I said to myself I accept my fate, but does it accept me? Same conditions here. It is amazing Emile when you write you ask questions, but also give answers. I like your writing
style very much.

GOD BLESS
Tony
