For those who feel they are in the category mentionned in my poem, they shoukd know that Autorsden is their sweet home.
The Unfortunate Ones
For most of us, memories of home are sweet,
But some unfortunate ones grew up on the street
Some have known care and birthday celebrations
Others only hardship, poverty and frustrations
Life is tough, but love can make it worth living
And those who suffered should be forgiving
Should rise up and show others their care
Through deeds of kindness and prayer
May those be blessed, who turned around
And changed for the better the world they found.
Love and a friend, not necessarily in that order is what was needed for some unfortunate ones. Yet, a few never did get one or the other or, tragically, any of both, but miraculously they tried to better the world around them, hope they can get a smile out of it.
Money was very scarce when I was a child, my dream was to one day grow up and make sure others were well taken care of. Beautiful message to pass to others Emile.

Emile, I love your words. As a person from both ends I can truly relate to the rising up and being a better caring person. Not knowing that growing up, its hard to adjust but is truly worth it in the end. Truly amazing and touching words.
