Tribute to our Mothers
What beauty of words reaches us from our mother’s tongue
When my mom was alive she used to say to us so many beautiful words.
Today we are missing those words, “my son”, “my sweetheart”, “my beauty”
These are the women who have more merit than anyone else.
If I may say the following words to all the mothers of the world
“You are our backbones; you are our closest and our friends
You filled us with your love, through your milk that we drank
Since our first age, we heard your words “God bless you my son”
These words were expressed naturally without hesitation
With such a loving voice, no one could resist such beautiful words
You taught us a healthy way of life, simple, clear and limpid
You played an important and determining role in our character formation
You knew to teach us the love and respect for our father and elderly people
By this you prepared us to treat our wives with respect and with love
You taught us to respect the neighbors and you used to tell us
Love your neighbors, as they are closer than your faraway brother
You are the ones who softened our juvenile impulsions and taught us
To be patient with ourselves and others through your example and behavior
You taught us that only the heart and the positive actions count
You showed us how to be caring, loving, and charitable
These are the beautiful and marvelous words that we learned from you
Calm, patience, serenity, asking for forgiveness if we made a mistake
These are the worlds for life, for love, and for peace
You are our Hollywood celebrities and our first ladies
