The Power of Life (Translated from the French Original )

I wrote this poem for the attention of my dear readers and friends who send me nice reviews. Without having met you, I can say I love you. I pray for you, that you may feel joy and happiness bursting from your heart.

 

The Power of Life 

         

We are living many an experience
One small, another immense
Making us discover life’s dealings
With its worries and its feelings

They become our heritage,
Which helps us at any age
To pray, not babble, taking for guide
The bottom of our heart, without being tied

By teachings we received, or traditions,
By our books, or our conventions
And only follow what we feel
So that joy deep inside us becomes real

To feed us with love, as our daily bread,
And sustains us from within, wherever we’re led
Everyone unheard of possibilities will find
Reaching us from the power of life, not our mind.
