Their Moral Value

In the world in which we live,
Where we always take and give
We should aim to maintain stability
To the best of our skill and ability
 
It is understood that every one of us
May he be unknown or famous
Toward his family has obligations
As toward society and his relations.

Parents couldn’t learn as much as we,
But on certain things we must agree
In us their moral values they instilled
As our hearts with wisdom they filled
 
Grandfather, father, besides their obligations,
Found time to tell their stories with patience
I owe them so much, I will share with you
What I believe to be worth it and true
