To my English speaking friends, here is the translation I promised

Lie and Truth

Truth and lie are not peers, I gather
A couple should be good to each other
Either married or sister and brother
They must be sincere and not bother

Likewise, for all, big and small, short or tall,
Be they professors, teaching spring or fall,
Be they government officials who fail
Where there is a lie – evil will prevail

A president should be just and wise
Not a troublemaker who will surprise
Everyone is demanding justice be done
If necessary, reprimand the one

If he lied, he should confess
As the people cannot progress
If a general cheated or made a mistake
The people have the right to remove the fake.

He should step down, and already has. But I will not fault them for being a man or his lover for being a woman. For without passion, who are we but slaves to the system that makes all generals follow orders without flinching and all women loyal to their honest and forthright husbands. I would not want to live in a place so boring as that. And, fortunately, I don't.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to
