It is time to forgive and reunite

It was middle of the night
Persecutor and lawyers fight
Who would win whose plight?
America has just lost a child

No anger, no cry, no hate
But the pain reverberates
Mothers, fathers are hurting
Some are crying, others skirting

Who cares who was right or lying
Parents are suffering and crying
Is anyone hearing their voice?
They didn’t have any choice

It is the right time to be quiet
People must forgive and reunite
As suffering must be nursed
And healing must come first

It saddens me that this ever happened as so many other terrible happenings in this world.

Love ya!

A wonderful approach to a vexing problem.

I would only add this. To single someone out as a threat by the way they dress or the way they look needs to be banished from our thoughts. We have suffered prejudice too long and we all know that it is wrong.

Finally, for someone to carry a gun for “protection” when their only purpose is to report potential crime in the neighborhood, does a disservice to human life. Regardless of the circumstances, once that gun is fired in anger or in defense, and the bullet strikes a vital organ, someone has death on their hands for the rest of their life. Is it worth the cost of carrying a gun? I think not.
