Composing a piece of music

(The Old-Fashioned Way)

Here I go, sitting at the table,
(Am I able?)
Writing out the projected notes,
(A rewrite I hope I will not have to tote!)

Next, it is time to pound out the keys,
I think it is starting to sound a bit like me!
(I am told I am good when I play, not meaning

to be Miss smarty pants or anything.)

Practice a bit, put everything together,

Write out some lyrics to go with the notes;

And you will have composed your First

Piece of Music!

(A hell of a lot easier said, than done!

Trust me on that one! I took a class last

Semester!)
