Morning- Peggy Bertrand's Challenge

This poem is fiction and the fact that I am making the daughter meet with the lover and I in the sunroom based on my history of a woman to woman relationship and the daughter was in the room and NOTHING was done sexually. We played with the daughter all night long and fell asleep on the bed; me, Kj and "Beana" (the daughter)

This is a poem in response to Peggy Bertrand's Challenge to All Poets in Authors Den.

Morning (Poem)

I awoke this morning
thinking of how your
daughter joined us last
evening in the sunroom.
She is only three years old.

I miss you and her already!
You lit something in me,
when we rendezvoused
last night.
You are the apple of my eye!

**********************************

Dear Kj,

I awoke this morning with nothing but memories of you and "Beana". I laughed with memories of how we played on the bed and we caught quick glances at each other. The attraction was REALLY there! I know you FELT it too! Do we continue to go on or do we act as if nothing has happened? Should we throw caution to the wind and say "hell let's risk it anyway?!"

Do we have to take into account society seeing us together? You are "out" and I am out to friends but not at work. If what we have feels so very real; should we hold onto it till it becomes fatal? Will it become fatal or will it LAST?

I wish-I knew--

The thoughts and emotions you sent to me to unravel and display for in my mind are like the morning sunrise etched in mystical clouds. I have risked all for you and you for me.

Good morning, Kj, if you reach for me, I shall be here. I am the wind in your empty valleys, I am the sunshine in your blind world.

Love,

Becca
