How playing music is fullfilling in me and I forget about the pain, the years of pain and the severity of it at times. The pain I talk about is psychological as well as physical pain from illness.

Look into my eyes,
They are full of Wisdom and
a torturous life of pain in my
young thirty-three years alive.

The eyes, hauntingly
empty, yet there is a *Sparkle*
when MUSIC is being played
on the piano!

Years of Pain and
CAT/MRI scans
are forgotten when I
settle down to
my Piano music!
If I could only
do this 24 hours a day,
7 days a week!

Beethoven, take me away!!! LOL!!!

Music is a great healer. I adore Beethoven, especially "Ode to Joy." He was brilliant and a great inspiration. Thanks for this reminder of the importance of music.

Music does seem to have that effect on people, especially when they are struggling with their health. Maybe I need to learn to read music and/or learn an instrument (or sing, more, perhaps??)...

Wonderful write, Rebecca; always enjoy reading you!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your fellow Tx. friend, Karen Lynn in Burleson. :)

Music can often be the best medicine, Becca. It soothes our souls when we're hurting. It cleanses our hearts where we're feeling sad. Truly a blessing in life.
Great write.
Jill :)
