Lonesome nights
Even though you are here with me
you are not
You are in your own little world
and I sit watching television by myself most nights
And you wonder why I fall asleep on the couch waiting for you
To come out of the imaginary world and back into reality

I am tired of spending nights when you get home at normal time
by myself after the kids are to bed
When it is suppose to be our time
You spend it on the computer
Your excuse for not coming over to the couch is
Well you fell asleep and I didn't want to wake you
I am tired of that excuse

You said you look forward to the weekend
but when we can do things as a family or as couple
you choose to be on the computer or watching television
As in our Anniversary we had no kids but instead of doing something
together where were we watching television or you were on the computer
so.......
something needs to change I think
but you just say that you are jealous that I get to be on the computer all day
and you don't because you have to work
Well I wish I could work I want to go
