"Before You Lose Your Fire"

Sailing life's highway,
Casting caution to the wind
Never looking back
A new life to begin.
Going with the flow of the ocean,
feeling the steady sway of the wave,
silently grasping a hand around infinity,
knowing solitude makes you brave.
Moments of free sailing,
letting the wind take you away,
on the steady course towards infinity,
horizons just beyond your field of play.
Relying on the kindness of Mother Nature,
to guide you and keep you safe,
Never doubting your ability
to survive in any place.
Holding on to cherished memories,
shall keep you satisfied, while you endeavor
on your life's dream of ocean wonder
remembering all ties you must release forever.
You have the intuition and the drive,
to fulfill your every desire
Hurry, Mate, go sailing,
before you lose your fire!
Author's Notes: To a "special" friend, M, go for it man, you only live once, stoke that fire and sail on the journey of your life!!
