Walking in Nature, is inspiration for a lot of my poetry, this is one of them...

You walk along the silent ground
trying to listen for the earth's sound.
It is a creak from a bending tree,
or a screech from an owl's plea.

Sounds of nature, healing waves
of golden silence surely saves.
Natural rhythm of life itself
brings a world of much wealth.

Traveling along this nature path
baring all of the season's wrath.
Summer heat, autumn cool,
Winter chill, and Spring to fulfill.

Listen carefully for the clues,
to bring you out of the winter blues.
Spring is arriving steadfast;
and summer with it's healing blast.

Autumn is a harvest feast,
here to tame the wildest beast.
Savor all the sounds of nature
Hold it in your heart to capture;

all those sounds into your mind
and know that health is what you will find.
It is the natural way to flow,
so that healing energy enters your soul.
